Search Engine Optimization is As Important As Building Your Website Initially
Today we will talk about SEO and its importance for a business. Let me start by explaining what SEO Stands for. SEO is the term used to optimize your website for search engine purposes and to later index it to search engines. It is an effective way for people and local businesses to market their share by getting more exposure through the internet, bring traffic in their website to convert the traffic into sales.
Every day, there is literally thousands of websites coming online over the internet that are being established by small, medium or large business corporations that increase the competition for maximum exposure.
You may spend a a lot of money to build your website and start your online business but how do you want people to find you if you don’t do much to market your business? Obviously, existing clients or those that are familiar with your business should be able to find your site upon request. Sometimes, people turn to find media as an alternative tool to advertise their business. Therefore, it is not always an effective alternative to the fraction of your investment. How can you be sure about clients that don’t read newspaper, don’t watch TV or listen to the radio, don’t pay attention on magazine ads etc?
What if you get thousands of potentials clients visiting your site, clients who have reached you by entering a few keywords into a search engine to find a company that provides the services or products they need? This is where SEO comes in.
SEO makes your website and it’s content attractive, relevant and visible to millions of search engine and web surfers. Potential surfers look on search engines for anything. Products, Services, Information, Companies, Directory of companies etc.
As the internet use grows rapidly with more than 400 million search volume a day, statistics show that the vast majority of Internet users employ search engines more frequently than any other online media as their leading source to discover websites and businesses, surpassing any other online means of advertising combined together such as banner ads, email campaigns, listing to yellow pages etc. Among those searches, 9 out of 10 searches are done from the top 20 search engine listings. Through a successful SEO campaign that your website receives and placement to top 20 results on a search term, you should be getting enough exposure and traffic that will eventually enhance and increase your sales through a successful conversion.

I was studying something else about this on another blog. Interesting. Your perspective on it is diametrically opposed to what I read earlier. I am still pondering over the diverse points of view, but I’m inclined to a great extent toward yours. And no matter, that’s what is so good about modern democracy and the marketplace of thoughts online.

I have been a seo consultant for a long time… almost 3 years but have never met a client who was 100% pleased with my work. I mean it’s like they want it yesterday, cheap and on first page of the SERPS… on Google and Bing
